Teri Hatcher

Teri HatcherTeri Lynn Hatcher was born December 8, 1964 in Palo Alto, California. Her mother, Esther, was a computer programmer at Lockheed Martin, and her father, Owen, was an nuclear physicist, electrical engineer and nuclear engineer. Teri was a ballet student at the San Juan School of Dance and was born in Sunnyvale, California. Fremont High School was where she was the Featherettes dance captain, and was presented with the "Most Likely To Be a Solid Gold Dancer" award. Hatcher was a graduate of engineering and mathematics from De Anza College after which she also pursued acting studies in San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri revealed that she had suffered sexual abuse from her uncle, Richard Hayes Stone, beginning at age five. she assisted Santa Clara County prosecutors with their case against him after an innocent 14-year-old victim of Stone's died by suicide. Stone was sentenced to prison for four counts of molestation. He died from colon cancer while in prison.
