Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass, a Greek-American musician and one of the original members of Motley's heavy metal group, is an American Greek-American musician. Lee is the drummer for a long time for Motley Cr e. He is also the creator of Methods of Mayhem, a rapper-oriented metal group. The musician has also explored solo musical ventures. Lee supports PETA and animal rights. In 2010 Lee sent a letter to Terry Prather, the president of SeaWorld protesting the treatment of Tilikum the orca. Lee believed that the animal should be freed and stated that SeaWorld would not comply since Tilikum is their primary source of the sperm. Lee expressed his displeasure and was disgusted by SeaWorld's ill-conceived and devious methods of obtaining Tilikum Sperm. Lee stated that he wanted to be able to avoid the tragedies of trainers being killed, as these tragedies were due to the whales' aversion to captivity.
