Fusari was the person who gave her the stage name Lady Gaga. It was in tribute to Radio Gaga by Queen which Stefani was a fan of. Akon was acquainted with Lady Gaga's songwriting position, saw her sing at an event and offered her a contract on his record label Kon Live Distribution. Gaga agreed to the deal. Lady Gaga was then known as a singer. Fusari, RedOne, and Martin Kierszenbaum were her producers at the time.
