Aunjanue E. Taylor Aunjanue E. Taylor, an American actor-producer and stage actress is well-known for her role in the movie Ray Undercover Brother as well as on The Mentalist. She graduated with an B.A. from African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School of Acting at New York University. Aunjanue is an American actor as well as a producer and director. She has worked in both film and television. The actress gained prominence for her role as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. After that, she was able to make appearances on BET's acclaimed television series The Book of Negroes.
